On October 8th, Brother Martin’s NJROTC participated in the Ponchatoula High School Marine Corps JROTC Drill Meet. The Drill Meet included a total of (15) JROTC schools in direct competition with each other. The Brother Martin NJROTC entered teams that competed in the Unarmed Drill Team, Armed Drill Team, Color Guard and Athletic Team events. The Drill events consisted of an Inspection and Drill routine, which was graded by Active Duty Army and U.S. Marine Corps personnel. At the conclusion of the Drill events, the Athletic Team competed in contests for the most sit-ups, pull-ups and the 300 yard shuttle run. Brother Martin placed 3rd in the Unarmed Inspection event and 2nd overall in the Athletics Competition.   Congratulations to the NJROTC for a job well done!
