Under the leadership of Chief Warrant Officer Michael Johnson and Senior Chief Romico Barnes, the Brother Martin NJROTC Crusader Company received outstanding marks at the Annual Military Inspection yesterday. Area 16 Manager, Captain Regan Kieff, USMC (ret), recognized our cadet staff, led by cadet Lieutenant Commander Reese Bruchi, Company Commanding Officer, as representative of the Company's preparation and execution for a professional and organized inspection. 

The Area Manager commented that cadet Lieutenants Ahmaad Karim and Ryan Boudreaux demonstrated outstanding knowledge of the Navy's administration and supply systems with 100% accountability. The first-year cadet platoon, led by 8th grader cadet Second Class Petty Officer Austin Sciacca, performed exceptionally and was recognized for the best performance at an inspection. 

Congratulations to cadet Seaman Apprentice Ming Yao Zhu for being honored as the Cadet of the First Quarter, cadet Seaman Apprentice Jared Mechlin as Cadet of the Second Quarter, and Austin Sciacca as Cadet of the Semester.  These first-year cadets were recognized for exceptional performance in the uniform inspection: Austin Sciacca, Jared Mechlin, and Cadet Seaman Apprentice Davis Bunol. Cadet Lieutenant Matthew Silva was recognized as the unit’s outstanding cadet by the Area 16 Manager.  NJROTC cadets from Ursuline Academy joined us for our annual inspection as well. We would like to thank the Culinary Crusaders for providing lunch and welcoming the Area Manager.
