The Brother Martin Mu Alpha Theta Club recently hosted its largest tournament ever! We were pleased to welcome 727 students from 34 schools across Louisiana (even as far as Shreveport) and Mississippi.
While most of the Crusader Mathletes were busy running the tournament and were, therefore, unable to compete themselves, there were a few Crusader Mathletes who were able to participate in this tournament. Hunter Hafford '30 (Algebra 1) and August Frederick '27 (PreCalculus) each earned 1st Place in their respective Individual Tests. Also earning recognition for their Individual Test performance were:
Meanwhile in Team Events, the Algebra 2 Team earned 4th place in Math Bowl (Team of Evan Adams '26, Brendan Groetsch '26, Sunny Matthews '26, and Jason Pham '26), and the Algebra 1 Team won 2nd Place in the Algebra 1 Team Test (Team of Foster Cambre '30, Hunter Hafford '30, and Kevin Pham '29).
We are so grateful to all of our participants and schools who helped make this tournament a tremendous success!
