Mr. TeeJay Nash '12, Senior Chief Romico Barnes, students in Brother Martin's MOSAIC club, and friends attended the Urban League of Louisiana's Declaration Youth Symposium at StudioBE on Monday, October 12, 2026.

The symposium brought juniors and seniors from six area high schools together for conversations centered on leadership, civic engagement, and the importance of using their voices to help shape the future of their communities. This event was a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage with their peers and consider their roles as future leaders.

It was especially meaningful for our Crusaders to meet Brother Martin alumnus John West '12, who served as one of the symposium's facilitators and organizers.
