The Crusader Cross Country team finished second at the Brother Martin Invitational Friday, October 21 in City Park. Archbishop Shaw won the Varsity meet 44-66. In his first varsity competition, Mason Williams led the Crusaders with a 6th place finish, running the three-mile course in 16:31. Michael Ballman, Cobe Kirkikis, Quinn Condon, and Michael Maldonado all finished in the Top 20.
The Jr. High also earned a second place finish Friday. Mason Manale, Kevin Broadbridge, Jonathan Fry, Liam Murphy, Andrew Deblanc, and Logan Betzer paced the Crusaders.
The Varsity team returns to action this Wednesday at 4:30 pm at the New Orleans Metro Championships in Audubon Park. Come out to the Uptown course to support your Crusader Cross Country team.
