Brother Martin High School hosted its inaugural 8th Grade Mother and Son Cornhole Tournament on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 in the backyard. After a prayer from Brother Martin principal, Mr. Ryan Gallagher '00, the cornhole tournament began, teams of mothers and sons competing for a top spot. Between games, guests were treated to La Patrona Tacos, Gianna's Snowballs, pizza by Pepperoni's Cafe, and delicious desserts. There were also other outdoor games, music by Mr. Bryce Barbaro '17, and prizes for tournament winners: Ralph Schindler and his mother, Jenny, Ashton Sander and his mother, Natalie, and Corbin Bryan and his mother, Jonnie Beth. Some of our guests won door prizes, including a coffee basket donated by Coast Roast Coffee and a gift certificate for Messina’s at the Terminal.
We would like to thank the Class of 2029, their Crusader Moms, and everyone who helped make this event so much fun, and we look forward to more friendly competition next year!
