On Thursday, October 3, 2019, 70 colleges and universities were represented at Brother Martin for our annual “College Day” on campus. Among the attendees were local schools such as Louisiana State University, University of New Orleans, Tulane University, Loyola University, Xavier University, Southern University, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Also representing were many Catholic Universities and Colleges such as Spring Hill College, Belmont Abbey College, The University of Notre Dame, Villanova University, and The Catholic University of America. Specialized schools and programs were also in attendance such as West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, US Merchant Marines, and Louisiana Army National Guard.  

Our students, along with students from visiting schools, St. Stanislaus and Ursuline Academy, were able to ask questions and explore the many options available for colleges and universities. Brother Martin’s College Counseling Program continues to offer events, like this College Day, to encourage students to become more knowledgeable about their college options and what it will take to get into the college of their choice.
