Members of the Brother Martin family stepped out to show their support for the Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride cyclists yesterday morning.
From the 2021 Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride information document:
"Thirty riders and 15 essential support staff comprised of law enforcement, fire fighters and EMS from five different states and 19 different agencies will be participating in the Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride from the Gulf Coast Region including Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama to honor fellow first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty...
Riders will stop along the route at the respective agencies of those fallen first responders...
The Gulf Coast Brotherhood Ride is dedicated to continuing the memories of those first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice for their communities and to inspire continued support of law enforcement and all first responders. The Ride also raises funds to offer financial support to the families of the fallen."
Brother Martin alumnus Kyle Haydel ‘09 is among the cyclists participating in this special event.
