Mr. Thomas Mavor, Mrs. Melanie Williams, and Mr. Joshua Thomas are members of the Brother Martin faculty who are participating in the PLACE Program (Pilgrimage Lyon André Coindre Experience).

As the Brothers of the Sacred Heart were founded by Father André Coindre in Lyon, France (1821), this pilgrimage is a 17–day immersive experience that takes place in Lyon and the surrounding areas. Participants in the program walk in the footsteps of Father Coindre and the early brothers, attending sessions at his family home, visiting the churches of his baptism, ordination, first pastoral assignment, and first pastorship, and traveling to the birthplace of Brother Hippolyte Polycarp. The program features historical lectures, pilgrimage visits, prayer services, Masses, a day of reflection, and a final synthesis project, all to provide participants with a deeper understanding and appreciation for Father Coindre’s charism and its relevance and urgency in our schools today. Over the years, a number of Brother Martin faculty members have participated in this enriching pilgrimage experience that will help them "delve deeper into the Founding Charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart" and ultimately better serve the young men entrusted to our care.
