Brother Martin Establishes Randy Asprodites ’65 SA Fine Arts Scholarship

Brother Martin is proud to announce the establishment of the Randy Asprodites '65 SA Fine Arts Scholarship in the St. Aloysius Century Foundation. Doug Schwab '82 established the scholarship with a generous gift to honor Randy, a teacher who had an impact on his life.  Randy influenced many students at Brother Martin as an art instructor and golf coach during his tenure from 1979 to 2014. "Spro" as he was affectionately named, built a unique culture in the classroom that allowed students to express themselves as artists should. Education on the vast career opportunities available through the arts will be part of this scholarship program. Randy received his M.F.A. Painting and Drawing at Indiana State University, a B.A. in Psychology at Nicholls State University and currently serves as Adjunct Professor at Southeastern Louisiana University. His art is currently on display at Cole Pratt Gallery uptown.
