The Brother Martin Class of 2026 gathered in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall this week to take the Sophomore Writing Assessment, which is the culmination of work that began in the first quarter of this school year. Our sophomores practiced all year, learning how to design an essay, illustrate the essay graphically, and communicate the points of their argument effectively. Crusaders examined sample model essays from years past to glean insights so that they may hone their craft. This assessment is meant to ensure that our Crusaders can think critically and articulate their thoughts well through the written word.
