Yesterday in Natchitoches, the Brother Martin cross country team capped off the Louisiana State Championship with a hard fought 2nd place finish. The Crusader Harriers placed 4 runners in the top 10 and all 7 runners in the top 21. Leading the team with his 3rd place performance was junior Noah Mooney, who challenged for the win late in the race. Seniors Daniel Falk and Luke Regan followed closely behind in 4th and 5th with fellow senior Eyan Calico coming through in 9th. Senior Gabriel Metoyer rounded out the team scoring in 11th place. Juniors Braeden Dunne and Trey Trainor finished 18th and 21st respectively. The team will travel to The Woodlands, in Texas this weekend to compete in the Nike South Regional against the best teams from Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
