According to a National Pre-Season XC ranking by Tully Runners, the Brother Martin cross country team is currently ranked 43rd in the country and 4th in the South Region (which consists of teams from Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi). The top returners from last year's state runner-up team are seniors Gabriel Metoyer, Daniel Falk, Luke Regan, Eyan Calico, and juniors Braeden Dunne, Noah Mooney, and Jack Collins. Others to look out for this season are junior Trey Trainor and sophomores Anders Maitrejean and Will Lionnet.
