On Tuesday, August 15th, the Brother Martin school community gathered in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium for our Feast of the Assumption Mass, which was celebrated by Fr. Tony Rigoli. Lectors for the liturgy included seniors Ethan Peavy and Jacob Vangilder, and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by ninth-grader Devin Nicks. After Mass, Principal Ryan Gallagher shared this message with our Crusaders:

"Nothing beats the first days of school and the first time we all gather together like we have this morning. Nothing is better than when we all return together to answer the call that comes with a new year. We’re never stronger than when we’re all together, united in our commitment to Brother Martin.

This school year presents us with an opportunity to strive for great things. Take advantage of this opportunity and the small opportunities that each day will present to you in an effort to make the very best of the year.

In the words of our founder, Father Andre Coindre, “When we have done all that we can, we have done all that we must.”

The challenge for us this year is to do all that we can today. Get up tomorrow, and do it again."
