The Brother Martin Class of 2028 recently celebrated the completion of their 8th Grade year with the fun-filled 8th Grade Trip. Rising 9th-graders numbering 121 departed for Dallas, Texas, on the morning of May 27th, 2024. They started off the festivities with dinner and games at Topgolf. The second day of the trip included a tour of AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) as well as a World Series rematch between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks at Globe Life Field. On day three, the students toured The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and enjoyed thrill rides at Six Flags Over Texas, all before traveling to San Antonio that evening. While in San Antonio, the students walked 180 feet underground at the Natural Bridge Caverns, played in the sun at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and enjoyed fine dining at Chama Gaucha, a Brazilian steakhouse. This trip was a wonderful opportunity for our Crusaders to enjoy a well-earned vacation and strengthen their friendships after a fulfilling first year at Brother Martin High School.
