The Brother Martin Class of 2027 recently celebrated the completion of their 8th Grade year with a fun-filled 8th Grade Trip. Rising 9th Graders numbering 153 departed for San Antonio, Texas, on the morning of May 29th. They started off the festivities with dinner and golf at Topgolf. The second day of the trip included a trip 180 feet underground at the Natural Bridge Caverns, thrill rides at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and fine dining at Chama Gaucha, a Brazilian steakhouse. On day three, the students enjoyed fun in the sun at Schlitterbahn Waterpark and a visit to the Alamo and San Antonio’s famous Riverwalk. The next morning, the students traveled to Houston, Texas, where they explored NASA’s Johnson Space Center. The trip was capped off with a visit to Minute Maid Park where the students watched the Houston Astros defeat the Anaheim Angels. This trip was a wonderful opportunity for our Crusaders to enjoy a well-earned vacation and to strengthen their friendships after a fulfilling first school year at Brother Martin High School.
