After our Easter Mass this week, we celebrated our 2025 State Champion Bowling Team in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium.

On Thursday, April 10th, Brother Martin captured an unprecedented 8th state championship bowling title.

After defeating the number 12-seeded Archbishop Rummel 16-11 in the semifinals, our number 1-seeded Crusaders matched up against number 2-seeded Slidell High School. After a challenging start and falling behind 1-7 after the first game, the team rallied back 6-10 after the 2nd game. The third game would determine the winner, with the Crusaders edging out Slidell 14-13. Senior Sam Vollenweider '25 was chosen as the playoff MVP, and Brother Martin won its 8th state title in the last 10 playoff seasons.

After their recognition, our bowling team presented the LHSAA State Championship trophy to Principal Ryan Gallagher '00, who accepted it warmly on behalf of Brother Martin High School.
