Crusader Basketball emerged victorious, 101-28 against Morris Jeff, on Saturday night on the strength of Freshman Corey Skillman, who scored 20 points.

The Crusaders wrapped up the first half with a 61-9 run. Skillman led the charge for Brother Martin's offense, scoring 20 points, with eight points during the third period. He also contributed four rebounds and four steals.

Jace Patin '22 had 15 points and Isaiah Torregano '21 contributed 10 points. TJ Small '20 (13 points), Steven Louis '20 (13 points), and Tijh Bell '20 (9 points) each had multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Brother Martin were Brock Ranlett '21 (7 points, 7 rebounds, 1 block), Davonn Moore '20 (4 points, 1 rebound, 2 steals), Marvin Jones '21 (4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), Clayton Lonardo '23 (2 points, 2 rebounds), Rex Hernandez '21 (2 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal), and Grant Delord '21 (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal).

Brother Martin finished the game with 52 rebounds (21 offensive / 31 defensive), one block and 21 steals. The win marks the 1,000th win in Brother Martin's basketball program.  The team (7-1) will play at McDonogh 35 on Tuesday night.  Varsity tip-off will be at 6:30 PM.
