Congratulations to the Brother Martin Baseball Team for advancing to the LHSAA Division I Select State Championship!
To celebrate this accomplishment, we will sponsor several activities at school this week.
Wednesday’s events are as follows:
The Student Council will host a “Crusader Baseball Send-Off” in the backyard of campus on Wednesday at 7:40 a.m. We will fill the backyard to help cheer the team on with the help of the Crusader Band as the team departs the Branton Chapel from morning liturgy. Students, family, alumni, and friends are welcome to join us.
We will also gather on Wednesday afternoon at the gates of E.A. Farley Field to send the team off to Sulphur. Make plans to line the gates of Farley Field as the team departs the field following practice at 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday. We will send them off at 5:30 p.m. when the bus departs campus en route to Sulphur and the state championship games. Students, family, alumni, and friends are welcome to join us. Wednesday will be a $5.00 Brother Martin t-shirt and tennis shoe day to support the Miracle League. Wristbands will be available for $5.00 at the Benson Mall entrance, and all proceeds will benefit the Miracle League. Brother Martin t-shirts and tennis shoes may be worn with regulation khaki pants and belts.
The state championship is a contest between two Brothers of the Sacred Heart schools as we take on Catholic High School of Baton Rouge at McMurray Park in Sulphur, LA. Game times for this three-game series are set for 5:30 p.m. this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (if necessary). We plan to offer a fan bus for students on both Thursday and Friday. The bus will depart from school at 12:30 p.m. each day, so students will miss 6th, 7th, and 8th periods each day. The fan bus will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The only way to sign up for a space on the fan bus is to return a signed permission slip to the Student Services Office before 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, May 14th. Again, the bus will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so there may not be seats available for students who wait until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday to return their permission slips. You may print a permission slip by clicking the links below:

We hope that many of our students, parents, faculty, and alumni will be in attendance to cheer on the team.
Please note the following game-day information from the LHSAA:
All tickets are being sold online on the GoFan website, Click for GoFan LHSAA Ticket Purchase.
There will not be a ticket booth available on site to sell paper tickets, nor will payment be accepted for any tickets on site.
It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to avoid any internet service issues that could occur on the day of the game.
Printed tickets will not be accepted. All tickets need to be redeemed on a mobile device.
Purchased tickets are good all day, but if you exit the park you will need to purchase a new ticket for reentry.
Go, Crusaders!
