The Brother Martin Crusader band joined together to spread Christmas joy at their annual Christmas Concert in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium held on Thursday, December 14th, 2023. Kicking off this festive night was the stage band followed by the novice band, symphonic band, and concert band. Band director Dominick Caronna ’85, assistant director Chris Bailey ’86, and Resident Teacher from Loyola University of New Orleans, Ms. Amy Donald, were also present to join our Crusaders throughout these joyful pieces. Ms. McDonald was also recognized for her service the band program. Favorites of the night included “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “A Christmas Medley," and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” In addition, a special performance of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” was conducted by Crusader band drum major Jason Childs ’24. Closing the evening was “A Christmas Festival,” and guests were even invited join in singing Christmas carols led by Mr. Caronna!
