Brother Martin Alumni Day at LSU

IMG_1719The Office of Alumni were on the road Wednesday, November 29 to Louisiana State University’s campus in Baton Rouge to pay a friendly visit to fellow Crusader graduates. Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83 and Assistant Dean of Students Mark Bordelon caught up with over 40 alumni who currently attend LSU. During the day, these Tigers also filled out a brief survey about their “college readiness” and their college plans. Many of the alumni relayed to Mr. Corrente and Mr. Bordelon that they were well prepared for college due to the advanced curriculum at Brother Martin. Alumni also exchanged past high school and recent college experiences while picking up various Brother Martin giveaways. Alumni also described their time on Elysian Fields Ave. as great and very helpful.

Harrison Trepagnier ’15 commented that his experience at Brother Martin “was like no other.” In addition, Brent Clement ’17 said, “my time there was incredible and I had some of the best experiences of my life.” The Crusaders have a strong presence at LSU and many are involved in school organizations ranging from athletics to service to student government.

Brother Martin representatives plan to visit the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on January 25 and Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans on January 29. Be sure to stop by and say hello to your Crusader family!
