
Members of the Brother Martin Academic Games Team received recognition for their accomplishments at the 2026 AGLOA Academic Games National Tournament in Charlotte, NC.
All of the following Brother Martin academic gamers competed on teams with other students from the New Orleans area. In the Middle Division, Trip Wiggins '30, Collin Dietzway '30, Felix Galey '30, and Adrian Gibson '30 were on Top 10 teams in Propaganda. In the Junior Division, there were both individual and team recognitions. Gus Rivenburgh '28 placed 10th in Presidents, Ian Sibal '29 placed 7th in Propaganda, and Sunny Matthews '28 went undefeated in the regular rounds of Equations, securing him a spot in a three-player final match where he finished 2nd overall. The team of Ian Sibal '29 and Reid Goertz '28 placed 3rd in On-Sets. Lastly, the team of Sunny Matthews '28, David Nguyen '28, Gus Rivenburgh '28, and Panu Sithisomwong '28 was 6th in Propaganda, 4th in Presidents, 3rd in Equations, and 1st in On-Sets. This team tied for 3rd place overall in the Sweepstakes competition.
