Brother Martin High School 8th graders visited the National World War II Museum in New Orleans as a part of a historical research activity centered on events of the Second World War. There, Mr. Marcel Gelpi, WWII Museum docent and member of the Brother Martin community, spoke with our Crusaders and answered their questions regarding the history of WWII planes and their pilots - thank you, Mr. Gelpi!
During the trip, our Crusaders were given the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits and film screenings and discuss their findings in small groups to expand critical thinking. We are grateful that our 8th graders were able to further their knowledge of our Nation's history in the pursuit of Academic Excellence, all for the purpose of Forming these Young Men for Life.
