Brother Martin High School was asked by a member of the healthcare community if the science department could 3D print an extender for the healthcare worker’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The extender would assist with making the masks more comfortable for healthcare workers on the front lines who are wearing surgical masks on a daily basis during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of today, Brother Martin’s science department has donated 67 of the 3D printed strap extenders to various departments at East Jefferson General Hospital.
