For the seventh consecutive year, Brother Martin’s bowling team has gone through the regular season undefeated.

The Crusaders dispatched Archbishop Shaw 23-4 Thursday afternoon at Westside Lanes in Harvey to finish the regular season 12-0.

On low-scoring conditions, Brother Martin managed a 3,141 team series. Dylan McDonald '22 had a 205 middle game to pace the effort, while Carson Sheehan '21 (202) and Drew Gardner '21 (201) closed strong.

The Eagles, who ended the regular season 9-3, were paced by Jonathan Freeman’s 224 final game and 572 series.

Both teams will be in the 32-team LHSAA boys/co-ed bracket announced next weekend. The Crusaders – winners of four of the last five boys state titles – entered the week at No. 2 in the power ratings, while Shaw was ranked 21st.
