Friday, representatives from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels visited campus to speak with Brother Martin NJROTC cadets, sharing their respective military experiences and calling on our Crusaders to be leaders in our world today.
Blue Angels Captain Isacc Becker was particularly impressed with the values that we seek to instill through our school, citing: "Brother Martin High School is founded on the conviction that each person is created free and unique by God and is to be treated with dignity because of being loved and redeemed by Christ. Because of this, Brother Martin High School is conducted with the belief that, although an individual might do evil, each person has a basic tendency towards good and, therefore, a right to hope and strive for personal happiness."
After meeting members of the Blue Angels team, cadets were able to attend the Belle Chasse Air Show and watch them in action that very morning. We would like to thank Captain Isacc Becker, Petty Officer Second Class Alisea Meza, members of staff, and all of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for giving our Crusaders this once in a lifetime opportunity!
