Senior, Blake Restel received his Eagle Scout rank on Sunday, March 8th at St. Benilde Catholic School. During the Eagle Scout Court of Honor, Blake was commended for his hard work, dedication and commitment to the Boy Scouts of America. He was honored by his troop leaders, parents and fellow boy scouts.
According to scouting.org approximately 7% of all Boy Scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout. The requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout include progressing through all of the ranks, earning 21 merit badges, serving 6 months in a troop leadership program and planning, executing and leading a service project for a religious organization, school or community.
