On Wednesday, August 25, 2016, LSU announced its baseball roster for the 2017 season, which included alumnus Blair Frederick ’16. Blair (#46 for LSU) is one of 13 new signees for the Tigers this season. In his senior year at Brother Martin, Blair was named to the All-State, All-Metro, and All-District teams as well as the Clarion Herald’s Elite Boys’ baseball team. He recorded an impressive 96 strikeouts in 62.2 innings in 2016. Frederick joins fellow Brother Martin alumnus Greg Deichmann’14 as members of the 2017 LSU Tigers baseball team.
