Campers participated in exciting activities from building their own racecars in STEM to performing their own improvisation skits with the Brother Martin Dionysians. Our Band directors and band members worked hand-in-hand with our campers on their very own music sets as well. Our wrestling campers were able to work with our state championship varsity wrestling team and coaches. Fridays seemed to be a fan favorite with Raising Cane's and Icees on the menu.
By offering over a dozen different concentrations over the course of the summer, Crusader Camp truly had something for campers of all interests."
Donnie Midkiff Jr. went on to say that "Our goal is to offer the best summer camp, period... and I think we are pretty close to reaching that goal. I get great joy in seeing how much our campers love being with us. I have campers that ask their parents if they could stay in aftercare just because they didn't want to leave."
When asked if he had started planning for Crusader Camp 2023, Mr. Midkiff said with a laugh, "I'm always planning."
We had such a wonderful time with our campers at Crusader Camp, and we can't wait for another exciting summer on Elysian Fields next year!
