This Christmas season, it was “merry and bright” for members of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association’s Boston Chapter. President John Devlin traveled from New Orleans to bring some “NOLA” merriment to alumni in Boston which is home to Fenway Park, the Freedom trail, and Brother Martin alumni.
In Boston, Mr. Devlin visited with Dr. Terry Flotte ’79 and Dr. Robert Clark ’62 CJ who were both former recipients of the Senator Allen J. Ellender Alumnus of the Year award. Dr. Flotte is currently the Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Dr. Clark is currently an Austin Wakeman Scott Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.
“My trip to ‘Beantown’ gave me the chance to visit with two of our distinguished Alumnus of the Year recipients and host a social to catch up with grads from Cor Jesu and Brother Martin. The weather was cold, but the reception was warm.” John Devlin, President of Brother Martin
In addition, on December 14, Mr. Devlin, Mr. Michael Glew ’82 and Mr. Ron Rivera ’67 CJ and guests were treated to a “happy hour” chapter social in Connexion Lounge located in the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Alumni shared stories and were updated on school activities/events. Mr. Devlin also discussed various alumni news and school events occurring in and outside the GNO area.
We wish all of our alumni Joy and Peace during this Christmas season!
