Brother Martin improved to 3 - 0 on the season. The Crusaders were victorious against Germantown 83-54 on Saturday with the help of T.J. Small, who scored 22 points.
The Crusaders connected from the field early, claiming a 38-37 lead at the half. Brother Martin solidified their lead in the final quarter, scoring 27 points.
T.J. Small was on the ball for Brother Martin, making 53% (8-for-15) of shots attempted and hitting 100% (5-for-5) of free throws attempted.
Javier Perez (13 points) and Shane Griffin (8 points) each contributed multiple three-pointers. Two other players also scored in the double digits for Brother Martin. Victor Tomlinson racked up 13 points and Peter Schneller contributed 10 points. Also chipping in for Brother Martin were Dillon Delatte (9 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks) and Isaiah Torregano (4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals).
Brother Martin finished the game with 40 rebounds (11 offensive / 29 defensive), three blocks and 13 steals.
The Crusaders return to action on Tuesday at West Jefferson.
