The Brother Martin Crusaders beat Zachary 4-2 in seven innings on Friday at Kirsch-Rooney behind Daniel Lahare, who went 3-3 at the plate, doubling in the third inning and singling in the first and fifth innings.
Jarett Gongora picked up the win for the Crusaders allowing one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out four batters.
The top of the second saw Zachary take an early 1-0 lead, but Brother responded with two runs of its own in the third scoring on an RBI double by Lahare and an RBI single by Gongora.
The Crusaders scored one run on a solo home run by Raphael Deroche to help secure the win.
Zachary didn’t stand a chance on Saturday, as Brother Martin captured a blowout 8-2 win in seven innings at Kirsch-Rooney.
The bottom of the second saw Zachary take an early lead, 2-0.
After posting one run in the third on an RBI single by Owen Magee bringing home Daniel Lahare, Brother Martin again scored one in the fourth.

Corey Gaconi picked up the win throwing seven innings and allowing two earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out four.
The Crusaders will face Live Oak in the quarterfinal round of the LHSAA playoffs. Dates and times are still TBD.
