Congratulations to two members of the class of 2016 for being named to the 2016 Class All -Academic baseball team. The Crusaders are Jake Broggi (P) and Scott Christopher Corrente (INF). Corrente has been a part of the Brother Martin baseball program since starting at Brother Martin. He was on the varsity team for two years. Broggi was on the varsity team for one year. They will continue their education at LSU in the fall of 2016.
According to LHSAA’s website, the Academic Class/Division team is composed of all senior student-athletes from their schools class/division who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Only the highest GPA’s from each class/division composes the composite team in a sport.
