On Friday, September 27, prospective students and their families joined the Brother Martin community at Tad Gormley Stadium, participating in a night full of music, fun, football, and camaraderie. There, under the Friday Night Lights, we hosted our exciting 2024 Junior High Band Night. 

In the Prof. Taverna Band Room and under the guidance of Mr. Dominick Caronna ’85, Band Director, Mr. Chris Bailey ’86, Assistant Band Director, and the Crusader Bandsmen, these Jr. High Bandsmen honed their musicianship and learned music that they would go on to play during halftime alongside members of the Crusader Band and in conjunction with a routine by the Dominican Debs. 

“Mr. Bailey and I were very impressed how the young musicians attending the event worked great together with our current bandsmen. We appreciated their time, talents, and willingness to help the young musicians master their talents for Friday night. They all worked collaboratively and had a great time. I can’t wait to see these young musicians again on our campus,“ said Mr. Caronna.

We would like to thank all the young musicians who participated, and we look forward to seeing each of you again soon in one of our upcoming Admissions events.
