After Career Day presentations, all 1,200+ Crusaders, alumni, and parents attended the 2nd annual Back Yard Bash. Under a beautiful blue sky, students enjoyed the live music of student band Whole Graine, the DJ stylings of David Trepagnier, a rock climbing wall sponsored by the US Army, several inflatable games, student-teacher volleyball, and a faculty dunk tank. Students could choose from a wide variety of lunch items, including fresh-grilled burgers, Subway sandwiches, Corky’s pulled pork, Castle burgers, pizza, Mudbugs red beans and rice and crawfish pasta, snowballs, king cake, and Creole Creamery ice cream. A photo booth, indoor basketball, and a special performance from the Crusader band completed the festivities!
