The varsity soccer team added another win to their season by defeating the Chalmette Owls in penalty kicks yesterday afternoon. After two periods of overtime and the regular series of penalty kicks, the game remained tied and went into sudden death. In sudden death, Chalmette’s first kick sailed over the cross bar, and Brother Martin capitalized on its first attempt sealing the victory.
The Crusader’s next game is Saturday at Joe Yenni against Grace King. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm.
