Alumni Visit Former Students at ULL

IMG_2278On Thursday, January 25 Brother Martin representatives, Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83 and Mr. Mark Benedetto ’77, visited with Crusader alumni at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). Excited to visit with over 24 young alumni, Mr. Corrente and Mr. Benedetto spent the day talking with them about their high school experiences at Brother Martin. They described them as challenging, privileged, great, one-of-a kind, and amazing.

In the past, Brother Martin has hosted college representatives from ULL so this was a great opportunity for our faculty/staff representatives to travel to ULL and ask our alumni to share their college experiences and talk with them about their academic life in Lafayette. They revealed that the courses they mostly tested out of were English, Math, and Science. Because of the interest in those courses, several alumni are majoring in math, industrial technology, insurance and risk management, civil engineering, and sports management.  As a thank you for spending time with Mr. Corrente and Mr. Benedetto, Alumni were treated to various Brother Martin gift items while receiving updated news on the abundant activities occurring on Elysian Fields Ave. They look forward to participating in future events hosted by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association.

The next stop is Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans on Monday, January 29. Be sure to stop by and say hello to your Crusader friends and family!
