Over the weekend, members of the 1986 & 1987 Brother Martin tennis championship teams and guests attended their lettermen reunion at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside to reminisce and engage with the current Crusader tennis team. The 1987 state champions were recognized at the event as they celebrated their 30th anniversary and recognized their coach, Dr. Winston P. Riehl. Dr. Riehl enjoyed catching up with his former players, and explained the health benefits of how playing tennis leads to a longer, healthier life. This year’s team looks forward to competing in the upcoming Regional Tournament at City Park/ Pepsi Tennis Center on April 18 & 19 and State in Monroe, LA on April 26 & 27.
