On June 1, the NCAA baseball tournament began and the LHSAA was well represented with many alums playing for one of the colleges in the 64 team field. According to The New Orleans Advocate, a total of 57 LHSAA alums will be on the field with most of those being on the rosters for Southeastern (22) and LSU (19). Brother Martin joins Parkview Baptist as the leaders with four players each. LSU Tigers Greg Deichmann ‘14 and Blair Frederick ’16 along with SLU Lions Corey Gaconi ‘15 and Jacob Seward ’13 will represent the Crusaders. Good luck to all players in the tournament!
