Alumni Honored by Press Club of New Orleans

Congratulations to the various alumni from Brother Martin on winning media awards at the Press Club of New Orleans 58th Annual Excellence in Journalism Awards Gala. The event was held at The New Orleans Marriott Convention Center in July. This year’s gala was hosted by Zach Strief of the New Orleans Saints. The Press Club of New Orleans is comprised of media professionals dedicated to improving the professional skills of people in the industry.

Notable alumni consisted of Greg Buisson ’77 & Staff of Buisson Creative, Sean Fazende ’99 of WVUE- TVSteven Forster ’75 of The New Orleans Advocate, Doug Mouton ’81 of WWL-TV,  Scott Walker of WDSU– TV ’93, and Alex Woodward ’04 of Gambit Weekly. These alumni all placed in various categories for their work in journalism, public relations, social media, television, etc.
