The inaugural Alumni Softball Game took place this past Saturday at Farley Field. Before the game, the 1984 State Championship team was recognized on their 30-year anniversary. Former Chief Justice Pascal Calogero ’49 threw out the first pitch. Judge Bob Burns ’62 SA and Jimmy Clark ’66 CJ coached the Farley Fielders to an early lead. Coaches Tom Schwaner ’57 SA and Butler Powell ’56 SA and “Spiders” rallied but fell short 8-5. After the game, alumni joined family and friends for food and drinks thanks to Sysco and Coca-Cola. Current Brother Martin baseball parents assisted at the event with registration and cooking.
