Alumni Gather at Annual Seafood Dinner

IMG_4036The annual Alumni Seafood Dinner took place this past Friday in the Benson Mall. Members of the Alumni Board of Directors served as the committee and organized registration, food and beverage service and the raffles. Over 300 alumni enjoyed boiled crawfish from Johnny’s Seafood (Johnny Randazzo ’96) and Tasty Tailz (Casey Fitspatrick ’93) along with fried catfish and side items prepared and served by Mrs. Tina LaBeaud and the Brother Martin Food Service staff. Members of the Brother Martin faculty and staff assisted with beverage service. Tommy Mitchell ’79 awarded prizes to raffle winners. Prizes included a 32” JVC HD television, compliments of Billy Thiele ’78, alumni gear and New Orleans memorabilia. Alumni Board President Scott Shea ’81 and Carlo Giangrosso ’40, the representative from the earliest graduating class, awarded a record amount in the 50/50 raffle to Remmy Borrello ’13, one of the youngest alumni at the event. Lance Priez ’73 was an event sponsor.
