In 2013, Brother Martin High School contracted with Alumni Research to gather information for our 2014 alumni directory. Alumni Research, Inc. agreed to contact our alumni to update their personal information and provide the updated information to us. Our alumni were also offered the option to purchase a hardbound alumni directory or an online version by Alumni Research.
We worked with this company to produce two previous directories and had a positive experience. All money paid to Alumni Research by an alumnus to purchase a directory went directly to Alumni Research. Brother Martin received no money from Alumni Research for the sale of the directories. During the last several months we have experienced difficulty in getting timely responses from Alumni Research concerning the receipt of our alumni data base or when directories would be delivered. We also were unable to get a list of our alumni who purchased a directory.
The Alumni Association acted in good faith and we have recently been advised to direct all alumni who have purchased a directory from Alumni Research, Inc. to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General’s Office.
