Alumni Dads Attend 9th Grade Alumni Dad Lunch

IMG_2024It was a ‘spooktacular’ day for the Class of 2021 and their Alumni Dads on Tuesday, October 31.  It was no ordinary day for these Crusaders because their Alumni Dads were invited to join them for their annual lunch in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall. The Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association hosted the lunch, which offered alumni and their son(s) the opportunity to spend time together and to enjoy each other’s company. Just like the Class of 2022 and their Dads, the Class of 2021 enjoyed their lunch in a true ‘Crusader Spirit’ even on Halloween.

Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83 welcomed Alumni Dads and their son(s) along with Director of Development Kenny Spellman ’84. Even Executive Vice President Greg Rando ’77, Director of Admissions Carlos Bogran ’99, and faculty/staff were also on hand to stop by and say hello to some new and returning alumni whom attended the lunch.

Guests also had the opportunity to eat a hearty ‘Crusader lunch’ prepared by Food Services as they reminisced about their days as students with their son(s) and former classmates. “It was a great time for my father and me to have lunch together at school. He told me some funny stories about having lunch in the Mall when he was a student here,” said Quinn Williams ’21 reflecting about his father, P. Lindsey Williams ’83.

We look forward to seeing our Alumni Dads soon at Brother Martin for upcoming events. Thank you to all our volunteers, Alumni Dads, and faculty/staff that assisted at the lunch!

“Makes me a proud dad to see my son enjoy the same experience that I had when I went to Brother Martin. My high school days formed me into the person I am today and I want the same for him.”- Todd Becnel ’90, father of Blake ’21
