Baseball Alumni gathered on June 1st for our annual Alumni Softball Game. The two squads were comprised of alumni from all five decades of Crusader Baseball history. To honor the 35 year anniversary of the 1984 State Championship baseball team, the two teams wore replica t-shirts from that year.
In the end, it was the Grey Team comprised of Barry Albarado ‘95, Eddie Coe ‘94, Nathan Dean ‘10, Andrew Laiche ‘05, Stephen Landry ‘05, Larry LeBourgeois ‘75, Scott Sloan ‘06, Matthew Thorne ‘05, and Andrew Velez ‘06 who came away victorious in the scorching heat. Coach Barry Hebert ‘74 and Chuck Stall ‘02 were on hand to provide updates on the Cool The Conlin campaign and the state semi-final run made by this year’s varsity team. After the game, players and their families were invited to enjoy food, music, and refreshments at the Brother Martin Fishing Rodeo in the backyard.
