Nolan Lambert ’79, Chief Deputy City Attorney of New Orleans, Robert Long ’96 of the New Orleans Police Department, and other members of the City Attorney’s Office and the FBI visited Mr. Falati’s “Street Law” class. The guests gave brief descriptions of their jobs, spoke about their career paths that led them to law enforcement, answered questions and challenged students with a game of Jeopardy to test their knowledge of the law.
Sgts. Sean Cursain ’85 & Kevin Balser ’92 of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office also spoke to Mr. Falati’s “Street Law” class. Sgt. Cursain was accompanied by his K-9 assistant. He displayed the weapons of his trade and gave students a “real life” explanation of his daily activity in law enforcement.
