Tom Benson ’44 has been named to the latest Forbes list of the world’s 1,426 billionaires. With an estimated net worth of $1.2 billion, Mr. Benson ranks 1,175 in the world and 377 of the 442 billionaires in the United States.
Mr. Benson most recently pledged $10 million to establish the Brother Nicholas Geisenberg, S.C. Building Endowment whose purpose is to provide financial support for Brother Martin in maintaining and enhancing our state-of-the-art facility. Mr. Benson also helped in the capital campaign of the Ridgley Center with a gift from his entire Aloysius class for construction of the auxiliary gym.
