All five of our senior National Merit Semifinalists were recently chosen to represent Brother Martin as finalists in this prestigious program...

Congratulations to five members of Brother Martin's Class of 2022 for being honored as National Merit Finalists! The following students have been recognized for their masterful Academic Excellence, in addition to superior performance on the PSAT exam:

  • Kyle Borde '22
  • Matthew Linder '22
  • Chase Lormand '22
  • Logan Millet '22
  • Landin Sanborn '22

The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.6 million entrants each year and meets published program entry and participation requirements.

In February, some 16,000 semifinalists are notified by mail at their home addresses that they have advanced to finalist standing. High school principals are notified and provided with a certificate to present to each finalist.

Brother Martin is incredibly proud of all our students for their continuous academic achievements and for these five seniors for their honorable recognition as National Merit Finalists.
