Alex Lucas '16 to Play the Serpent in "Garden"

unnamedAlumnus Alex Lucas, Class of 2016, will be originating the role of the Serpent in the premier of a new musical entitled “Garden: An Original Love Story,” a fresh retelling of the classic biblical love story with a clever and innovative twist. This new musical was inspired by St. Pope John Paul II’s encyclical Theology of the Body, written by seminarian Joey Martineck, and based on the music of local artists Greg & Lizzy.  Dumb Ox Ministries and Notre Dame Seminary recently partnered  together to produce this exciting endeavor for the public. Performance dates and times are March 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m., March 18 at 8 p.m., and March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Shulte Auditorium of Notre Dame Seminary of New Orleans. Tickets and further information can be found here.

While at Brother Martin, Alex was actively involved in both the Dionysians/Drama Club and Chorus. He was also a 2016 recipient of the Golden Crusader Award.  Currently, Alex is a freshman at Loyola University majoring in vocal performance and history.
