The Brother Martin Academic Games teams were honored Monday evening for their achievements this semester in the games of Propaganda and On-Sets.In Propaganda, Benjamin Buller placed 7th out of all the contestants in the Middle Division. Joseph Arrigo tied for 3rd place individually in the Junior Division. The Senior Division team led throughout the entire Propaganda tournament taking 1st place honors. Members of the team were Kevin Branley, 1st place individual; Michael Ballmann, 2nd place; Brandon Yrle, 3rd place; Chris Maheu and Brian Pellerin. Also, Brett Storms finished 9th individually in the Senior Division. The Senior Division team won all of their On-Sets matches, taking the league championship for the second year in a row. Michael Ballmann, Chris Maheu and Brandon Yrle were the only undefeated players in their division. After a playoff match between the three teammates, Michael finished 1st, Brandon 2nd, and Chris 3rd. Kevin Branley and Brian Pellerin tied for 4th place behind the rest of their team. In the Junior Division, Joseph Arrigo beat the top two contenders going into the last round of On-Sets securing a seat in the playoffs. In the playoffs, Joseph took 3rd place honors.
